HIMAHI Teach High School Students How to Diplomacy in Digital Age.

Jakarta (UNAS) – titled “Addressing The Digital Native Phenomenon as a New Era” The International Student Association (HIMAHI) held a public lecture involving high school students in South Jakarta. The event which was held on Tuesday (25/4) was held at Block Hall 1st Floor IV National University.

Met on the sidelines of Cut Fahriana as the Chief Executive of this activity said that the purpose of holding this public lecture is to introduce to high school students who attend about What and How International Relations. The event, which starts from 9am to 4pm, is comprised of the United Nations Model (MUN) seminar in diplomacy, the national awareness seminar hosted by AKOE Indonesia, as well as photography and photo booth exhibitions.

Asked about the theme that was promoted, the 6th semester women majoring in International Relations Unas reveals that the meaning of this theme in general is to invite young people today known as the era of “Digital Native” is the era where children under 24 years already able and proficient in using the internet. They are accustomed to accessing even searching for various kinds of information through their fingers. They write, read and spend most of their time with their gadgets. This is what he said, which encourages HIMAHI to begin to socialize about how closely International Relations with the Digital World.

“Here we want to open the insights and ways of thinking seminar participants about how close to HI with the digital world because HI today is not just to discuss and learn things as far away as diplomacy, social, culture and politics from other countries in the world. But HI is currently in our hand is on our smartphone with us using the internet well and wisely for the purpose and kemaslahatan great for ourselves and the community then we have been able to create relationships that are in harmony with the world around us, “he said.

Interviewed after the event Pranita Egi Hardianti admitted very happy with this activity. This activity, he said, is very beneficial for him and friends – friends who really want to continue their studies in International Relations majors with this activity we become more knowledgeable about the history, benefits and goals of international relations.

I as a representative from high school Fatahillah feel very happy with this activity because this event gives a lot of knowledge – new knowledge, new experience and new insight about the Department of International Relations.
